I just received these jeans, and the original size I ordered was way too big. I ended up ordering 4 pairs in 4 different sizes, before I could figure out my size. Not sure what the number stands for, it wasn't my waist size. The jeans (once right sized) were comfortable. I originally wanted the lighter color, which was on back order. I waited 3 months to receive them, but then gave up and went to the darker color. The customer service was good. My contact was very responsive.

I had read reviews before I bought. Yes they may run alittle small but I sized up which makes them fit not as snug out in the field, but they do stretch some after wearing for a few hours like most common jeans of today do. I'm definitely ordering more today in fact !!

I'm 5'3" and 135 lbs. I normally wear a 28 for midrise jeans or 29 for low/hip rise jeans. I ordered these in a 28S and they fit, but were a little more snug than I would have liked. Exchanged them for a 29S and they fit perfect! If you're stuck between sizes, I would order up. Overall, love the jeans. They actually look like women's jeans instead of baggy men's. They are very flattering, especially for FR.

These are women's jeans but are sized like men's. Therefore when I took measurements and ordered the size at which I measured, they came way too big. They look like they'd be nice jeans but I can't see wasting the time to order and return over and over to find the correct size.

Sizes for the Ariat Mid Rise jeans are unusual. They are not based off waist/hip size or normal women's sizes. The sizing chart Does Not accurately correlate Ariat sizes with normal women's sizes (ie. a women's size 2 normally fits slightly big on me, but under Ariat's sizing chart I am a women's size 6).

Great to have women jean FRCs. So much more comfortable. I typically wear a 12/14 so I ordered a 32 and it fits great. I originally ordered regular inseam as I'm 5'7", but they were crazy long! Easy return for a short inseam which fit great!

Love these jeans!! Stylish, comfortable, and not near as hot as ordinary FR jeans.. They are not near as heavy as Carhart FR jeans. Now they just need to come out with more styles. Why is that important, when I'm in the oilfield and don't see anybody most of the time. But when I have a crew or hot oiler on location I like to dress right (FR) and look good at the same time. Ladies you can rock a Hard Hat in these..

I love these jeans, but I had to send them back and exchange them for a larger size. I normally wear a size 12 so I ordered a 30. Unfortunately, I couldn't zip them up. I exchanged them for a 31.

I have been working in the electrical industry for close to 10 years & have been required to wear FR clothing for about half that time. I am 5'11" with 36" inseam and I have had the hardest time finding a pair of jeans that were long enough, fit good & made me feel confident in them. These jeans are absolutely amazing! All the other FR pants I've tried, I couldn't wait to get off at the end of the day - they just didn't fit right. I would wear these jeans even on my off days. Ariat did a great job with these jeans!
