This flame resistant hood features:
  • Outer shell - 13 oz. flame resistant duck
  • Inner lining - 10.5 oz. FR quilt lining: FR Modacrylic batting quilted to twill face cloth
  • Three-piece hood design for better fit
  • Chin protector with flame resistant hook and loop closure
  • Nomex drawcord for adjustment
  • Arc-resistant snaps for attachment to flame resistant outerwear only
  • Maybe used with the following Carhartt FR coats and jackets: FRC006, FRJ195 and FRJ198
  • NFPA 70E, HRC 4

Carhartt Laundering Instructions for Flame-Resistant Clothing / Quilt-Lined
  • Machine wash warm at temperature not to exceed 140°F (60°C).
  • Do not use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide bleach, softeners or starch.
  • Tumble dry low, remove promptly.
  • Iron with low heat.
  • Do not dry clean.

Fits the jacket great and the snaps are very tight so it won't come off the jacket unless you want it to.
