This all-season bomber jacket by Carhartt is great for layering. The twill face cloth is great alone for fall and spring, and this coat can be layered with sweatshirts and more in winter. The 8.5 oz. canvas outer shell is a supple, lightweight alternative to the heavier traditional 13 oz. duck. It features:

  • Outer shell: 8.5 oz. canvas: 88% cotton / 12% high tenacity nylon blend.
  • Lining: 6 oz - twill face cloth lining
  • Two inside patch pockets with FR hook-and-loop closure for convenient storage
  • Nomex® rib-knit cuffs and waistband
  • Brass front zipper with Nomex® zipper tape has inside and outside protective flaps and hidden snap closure for electric arc protection
  • Snaps under collar for optional FR hood
  • Size large Regular back length 29" Tall 31"
  • NFPA 70E compliant, HRC 2

Laundering Instructions for Carhartt Flame-Resistant Clothing / Unlined or Twill-Lined

  • Machine wash warm at temperature not to exceed 165°F (74°C).
  • Do not use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide bleach, softeners or starch. 
  • Tumble dry low, remove promptly. Iron with low heat.
  • Do not dry clean.
