The innovative NSA Arc Guard CrossVent™ Arc Flash Hood provides a gentle and quiet breeze that keeps you cool and your faceshield clear.  The small (60mm) fans are quiet and powered by AA batteries. You also get the confidence of Arc Guard protection and compliance to ASTM F 2178-02. NSAs CrossVent Hoods are available in 11, 37, 40, 65 and 100 cal rated hoods.

Note: CrossVent hoods with internal fans are NOT NIOSH approved and are NOT intended to be used as a respirator.

Laundering Instructions:
  • Prior to washing garment, remove internal fans. Also, remove faceshield and clean with warm water.
  • Using detergent only, wash up to 165° F
  • No chlorine bleach or hydrogen peroxide, either separately or in detergents
  • No softeners or starch 
  • This garment can be dry cleaned.

We will never buy a hood without a fan again. Work time was increased due to not fogging up so often.
