The innovative NSA Arc Guard CrossVent Arc Flash Hood provides a gentle and quiet breeze that keeps you cool and your faceshield clear. The small (60mm) fans are quiet and powered by AA batteries. You also get the confidence of ArcGuard protection and compliance to ASTM F 2178-02. NSAs CrossVent Hoods are available in 11, 37, 40, 65 and 100 cal rated hoods.

Laundering Instructions
  • Prior to washing garment, remove internal fans. Also, remove faceshield and clean with warm water
  • Using detergent only, wash up to 165° F
  • No chlorine bleach or hydrogen peroxide, either separately or in detergents
  • No softeners or starch
  • This garment can be dry cleaned

Product work great. Have other 40 cal fan hoods that take a lot of battery, really like the fact that these hoods take two 9 volt batteries. Shipment was quick. Would recommend the purchase of this product to others.

We will never buy a hood without a fan again. Work time was increased due to not fogging up so often.
